Participants will develop engineering, problem-solving, programming, and teamwork skills while preparing to compete in VEX IQ robotics competitions. Registration is limited to 24 students. Through martial arts training, children build confidence and become less likely to be targeted for bullying in the first place. Self-defense classes can teach children to defend themselves physically when the need arises. National Karate’s STOP program teaches students how to respond physically when necessary without aggressive techniques that can escalate a situation or result in punishment for the user. Student’s abilities, progress, and discipline make them more self-assured, preventing bullies from seeing them as vulnerable targets. Our program teaches emotional discipline so children learn to respond in defensive situations without resorting to fight or flight.Fall 2026 -
