Advisory Council Roles and Expectations Mission Statement:
Sartell-St. Stephen Community Education supports lifelong learning by providing enriching educational, recreational, social and cultural experiences. Promoting citizen involvement and partnerships with our broader community.

The Sartell-St. Stephen Community Education Advisory Council acts as a vital bridge between local residents and the district, helping to shape accessible programming and lifelong learning opportunities across all age groups. Operating in an advisory role to the Community Education Director and School Board, the council assesses community needs, provides strategic recommendations, and helps prevent the duplication of local services to ensure efficient use of district resources. By facilitating partnerships among residents, local government, schools, and civic organizations, the council ensures that early childhood programming, youth enrichment, adult basic education, and recreation offerings reflect the evolving interests and diversity of the entire Sartell-St. Stephen community.
2 year volunteer term. Advisory Council meets 4 times a year, typically in the early evening on Monday nights.
