This class incorporates physical postures, breathing techniques and mindfulness exercises. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, gathering strength and thriving, or a caregiver, yoga can further your recovery and help you feel whole again. Because all yoga is not the same, this class is led by a certified y4c instructor with knowledge and awareness of the special needs individuals may face including limitations and fluctuations in strength and mobility, range of motion, breathing and energy levels. This class will be beneficial in the following ways: maintaining a strong immune system, building muscle strength, improving bone density, and creating self-confidence. This class will also help to manage common side effects, reduce stress, improve sleep, provide a sense of well-being, cultivate hope, provide a supportive community, and create a path to a longer, happier healthier life. Adult Learn to Skate Camp (Ages 18+)RecreationIt’s never too late to learn to skate—or to get back on the ice! This camp is designed for adults of all experience levels, from true beginners to those looking to refresh and improve their skills. Led by the Sartell Figure Skating Club coaches, skaters will work on balance, confidence, and fundamental skating skills such as stopping, turning, and forward and backward skating. Instruction is adapted to each skater’s comfort and ability in a supportive, fun environment.
