First Lego League Competition Robotics (6th Grade)

Join us for an exciting journey into the world of robotics with FIRST LEGO League (FLL). This hands-on course focuses on STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - encouraging young learners to explore these fields in a fun and engaging way.

This year's theme, Bioglow, invites students to explore our Earth. Nothing on Earth thrives alone. With STEM as their tool and nature as inspiration, today's boldest innovators are finding new ways to strengthen the conn cations that protect our shared home.

Participants will form team of eight to design, build, and program a robots using LEGO Spike technology. Beyond robotics, teams will collaborate on a "challenge" project that tackles a real-world problem, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Participants will get comfortable with public speaking during the competition with two presentations, one on their challenge project and one on their robot design.

Ideal for young innovators eager to develop problem-solving skills and work collaboratively, this course is perfect for anyone ready to explore STEM through hands-on learning and friendly competition. 

Participants are encouraged to bring a snack to have before the start of class.
