Introduction to International Chess (all ages)

Chess embodies Art, Science and Sport. Challenge Yourself, Meet New Friends, Reduce Stress and Learn Strategy and Pattern Recognition.  The class will be taught by Mr. Long Chen who has placed in the top 3 in Chess tournaments in Laredo TX, St. Cloud MN and Berlin Germany since age nine.  His current USCF regular rating is 1965.

Each Chess Session is 1 hour long.  The first 45 minutes are used to teach the fundamentals, tactics and chess puzzles. The final 15 minutes is reserved for casual play and/or discussion.  

Participants are encouraged to bring their own chess sets.
